Mendocino Grove Celebrates 10 Seasons with Expanded Offerings and Guest-Focused Programming

1 week ago 1

Mendocino Grove, a Northern California glamping destination, will mark its 10th season in 2025, signaling sustained consumer demand for nature-based, upscale accommodations.

The property, located along the Mendocino coast, officially opens for the season on April 25, with reservations already available.

For glamping business owners and operators, the longevity and growth of Mendocino Grove serve as a case study in evolving consumer preferences and the diversification of traditional camping experiences.

The site has expanded its offerings steadily over the past decade, now encompassing eight tent neighborhoods, meeting spaces, and upgraded amenities designed to accommodate various guest demographics—from solo travelers and families to corporate groups and event planners.

The property’s 2025 programming includes a full season of community events, wellness-focused amenities, and experiential offerings that blend hospitality with local culture.

A new outdoor redwood shower and expanded Camp Spa services are among the highlights of this year’s enhancements, according to a report by eTurboNews

Massage treatments and sauna sessions cater to health-conscious travelers seeking restorative experiences—a trend that continues to influence the design and marketing of glamping properties nationwide.

Mendocino Grove is also capitalizing on niche events and partnerships to attract repeat visitors and broaden its guest base.

A notable addition this year is a pre-season retreat in collaboration with Cannescape, a cannabis-focused culinary brand.

Scheduled for April 18–20, the retreat includes a five-course infused dinner by chef Haejin Chun and wellness workshops. These curated experiences align with broader industry shifts toward themed retreats and specialized programming that appeal to lifestyle-focused travelers.

“We’re thrilled to celebrate 10 seasons of Mendocino Grove,” said property co-owner Teresa Raffo. “Our intention has always been to provide an inspiring place to connect—with each other and with nature—and we’re proud to have become a part of so many cherished memories.”

Recurring features like the Campfire Series, Friday Night Dinners, and Rise & Shine breakfast program continue to set the property apart, providing guests with structured social opportunities in a natural setting.

These offerings also reflect how glamping providers are moving beyond mere accommodations to deliver fully immersive, community-oriented experiences.

Mendocino Grove’s continued evolution reflects industry-wide trends toward enhanced service levels, experiential programming, and customer segmentation strategies.

For operators, its approach illustrates how amenities such as dog-friendly features, guided hikes, and children’s activities can support longer stays and increase repeat visitation.

The campground also highlights operational opportunities in hosting seasonal festivals and partnering with local producers to create additional revenue streams.

“Chris and I are so grateful to our team, to the Mendocino community, and to all of the guests who keep coming back year after year,” Raffo said.

As more outdoor hospitality businesses consider how to remain competitive in a maturing glamping market, Mendocino Grove’s focus on guest experience, local integration, and long-term brand development offers useful insights for sustained success.
