Glampfest, an annual glamping festival near Knaresborough, is set to return in May 2025 with an expanded lineup and new attractions.
The event, organized by Glawning Ltd. and Mighty Events, has grown significantly since its inception in 2017, when it started as a small campout with just 100 attendees. Last year, it attracted more than 1,500 visitors, and organizers expect even more this year.
James and Sarah Martin, the husband-and-wife team behind Glampfest, have announced several new features for the upcoming event.
These include a science show from Silly Science Workshops, DJ workshops for children ages 8-17, an Ibiza Chill Out session, acoustic performances at the Campervan Live Lounge, and a climbing wall.
“We are excited to bring even more variety to Glampfest this year,” James Martin said. “Our goal has always been to create a family-friendly atmosphere where people can enjoy the glamping lifestyle while experiencing great entertainment.”
Glampfest has become a notable event in the outdoor hospitality space, drawing attention not only from glamping enthusiasts but also from business owners in the industry.
The festival offers a unique opportunity for glamping and outdoor accommodation providers to observe consumer trends, from campervan conversions to high-end tent setups.
The demand for premium experiences continues to rise, making events like Glampfest valuable for professionals looking to refine their offerings.
This year, Glawning Ltd. is also hosting a prize draw featuring a fully converted MAN TGE 4WD campervan. The vehicle comes with high-spec features, including climate control, Apple CarPlay, a lithium battery system, solar panels, and a Webasto diesel heater with Wi-Fi controls.
“We wanted to offer something truly special this year,” Sarah Martin said in a report by Harrogate Advertiser. “The winner of this campervan will get a top-of-the-line vehicle ready for any adventure.”
Tickets for Glampfest 2025 are now on sale, with options available for both day passes and weekend camping. The event welcomes all types of camping setups, from bivvy bags to motorhomes and caravans.
