Walt Disney World Resort’s official blog just revealed that it’s preparing to make a brilliant splash this summer with the highly anticipated return of Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. See Typhoon Lagoon in a whole new light this summer with this exclusive nighttime event, which will take place on select evenings from May 23 to September 13, 2025, offering families a vibrant and unforgettable way to experience the beloved water park after dark.
Glow-In-The-Dark Fun
Hosted by none other than Partysaurus Rex from Toy Story, this summer’s event promises a high-energy atmosphere with even more appearances from beloved Pixar characters.
Glow with excitement all night long as you drift along Castaway Creek or take the plunge with a thrilling five-story drop on Humunga Kowabunga. With the event happening after hours, you’ll skip the sweltering midday heat and enjoy significantly shorter wait times compared to daytime visits. Make the most of Typhoon Lagoon’s signature attractions, including the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, the largest wave pool in North America.
Bites and Beverages
H2O Glow After Hours isn’t just about the rides—it’s also a food lover’s dream! This year introduces exciting new menu items, including Chicken and Mickey-shaped Waffle Sliders at Leaning Palms and a Glow-versized Loaded Baked Potato at Typhoon Tilly’s. Of course, fan-favorite complimentary treats, such as Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn and select beverages, are still included in the event admission.

Aquatic Dance Floor
The evening wouldn’t be complete without the legendary nighttime DJ Dance Party, where dazzling lights, energetic beats and classic Disney magic combine for an electrifying experience. Guests can dance the night away with Disney characters and fellow partygoers in an atmosphere bursting with incandescent color and free-flowing fun.
