Virgin Voyages announced it would bring the vibrant flavors of Spain to the high seas with Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, a Spanish-inspired restaurant debuting aboard Brilliant Lady.
The addition of Rojo by Razzle Dazzle follows the success of Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle, the Chinese-inspired restaurant that launched in November aboard Scarlet Lady.
Acclaimed chefs Justin Severino and Nate Hobart will co-helm Rojo by Razzle Dazzle, bringing their ingredient-driven, sharable dining innovations to sea. Some of their favorite recipes are also going along for the ride, as the new menu will feature Morcilla’s legendary Oxtail Montadito.
“Virgin Voyages set out to be a disruptor from day one, and our culinary program – with Michelin-chef designed menus and boundary pushing creativity – was always central to that mission,” Director of Culinary Program Development, Levi Mezick, said. “Spanish cuisine and the communal dining traditions complement our commitment to authentic yet innovative experiences for our Sailors.”
By day, Razzle’s signature brunch will have a Spanish-American twist served in a casual atmosphere. When the sun sets, though, Rojo transforms into an elevated dining experience pulsing with vibrant Spanish energy.
Ensuring the cocktails live up to the cuisine, Virgin Voyages partnered with Onada Consulting from Barcelona to bring an authentic Spanish touch. The cruise line also reimagined the Razzle Dazzle space for Rojo to create an environment that honors Spain's communal dining traditions.
Along with a new restaurant concept, Virgin Voyages recently unveiled seven original productions that will debut on Brilliant Lady this fall.
