OHI Announces 2025 Graduates of the George O'Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality

Ninety professionals from the outdoor hospitality sector have completed the George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality, an industry program led by OHI

The graduates, including owners, managers, and staff from RV parks, campgrounds, and glamping businesses nationwide, have earned distinguished professional certification in business management principles specific to the outdoor hospitality sector.

“Congratulations to all of this year’s graduates. Each graduate’s commitment to professional growth is commendable. Completing any year of National School is an achievement and an investment in their business, their team, and the future of our industry,” said Paul Bambei, president and CEO of OHI.

The 2025 cohort includes students from diverse backgrounds, including professionals from private campgrounds, municipal parks, and recreation programs. Participants in the program completed coursework designed to enhance leadership, operational efficiency, and guest experience strategies.

Graduates of Year 1 of the program included Camp HiYo!, Lakewood Camping Resort, Army Outdoor Recreation, Jellystone Park locations, and several independent campgrounds across the country. 

Year 2 graduates received the Outdoor Hospitality Professional (OHP) certification, demonstrating an advanced level of industry knowledge and commitment to excellence.

“I’m so proud to be part of something so impactful. Watching these students be fully engaged in their learning is truly invaluable,” said Jim Button, Chair of the OHI Board of Directors and Owner of Evergreen Campsites. 

“The relationships they’ve built and the knowledge they’ve gained will stay with them for years to come. They’re leaving fired up and ready to drive the Outdoor Hospitality Industry forward. Congratulations, Class of 2025!” Button added.

The George O’Leary National School of Outdoor Hospitality brings industry experts into the classroom to provide participants with essential skills and insights. The program equips students with knowledge in financial management, customer service, marketing strategies,
