Margaritaville at Sea is unveiling new offers and programs for American active and former duty military, first responders, medical professionals, government workers and educators.

The cruise line’s Heroes Sail Free program has been so successful that it decided to expand its offerings for “heroes.”

At 6 p.m EST today, the company will release a limited number of “heroes” cabins for 7-night Caribbean cruises setting sail this fall.

In May, Margaritaville at Sea will also introduce a “Drink of the Month” on both of its ships to raise money for Hire Heroes, a nonprofit that helps U.S. military members, veterans and spouses get jobs.

The company is also bringing its “Salute to Heroes” event, currently hosted on Margaritaville at Sea Islander, to Margaritaville at Sea Paradise starting on May 2. The event is designed to honor “heroes” and give them opportunities to build community during their sailing.

Throughout the month of May, the cruise line will host special toasts to honor specific groups of frontline workers: Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9), Nurses Appreciation Week & International Nurses Day (May 6-12) and Memorial Day (May 26).

“As the No. 1 cruise line for Heroes, we believe they deserve more than just our gratitude; they deserve a chance to relax and enjoy unforgettable experiences at sea,” says Christopher Ivy, chief executive officer of Margaritaville at Sea. “Whether it’s a well-earned getaway, a special moment of recognition, or a chance to build community, we’re dedicated to giving back to our Heroes.”
