Meanwhile, "The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure" is a fully reimagined show boasting "stunning set pieces, imaginative costumes, cutting-edge effects, skillful puppetry, and a bold new design aesthetic that captures Ariel’s imagination and emotions through her unique view of the world around her," according to Disney.

Hit songs featured will include "Under the Sea" and "Part of Your World" as well as a pair of new-to-this-theater musical numbers in “Daughters of Triton” and “Kiss the Girl.”

Both new productions will offer multiple showtimes each day beginning Tuesday, May 27.

New-Look Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin Coming in 2026

Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at Walt Disney World Resort's Magic Kingdom will temporarily close in August to undergo significant renovations.

In the meantime, guests can start getting excited about a new show scene, updated ride vehicles and gameplay enhancements.

The beloved Tomorrowland attraction will feature a brand new scene showcasing an all-new character in a friendly robot named "Buddy" on top of enhanced vehicles equipped with video monitors providing real-time scoring updates and handheld blasters for better aim and a more interactive experience with the help of new lighting, sound and vibration effects.

The improvements have already been a hit with Disney Imagineers.

"Everyone had a great time, and our team learned a lot," said project creative director Justin DeTolla. "We’ve been working on this project for quite some time now, so it was exciting to see it all come to life for the first time in the field."

The ride is slated to reopen next year.
