United States President Donald Trump and his administration are reportedly considering massive travel restrictions for dozens of countries.

According to Reuters.com, an internal memo from the Trump administration shows that 41 countries are currently being considered as part of the new travel ban, including an initial list of 10 nations, such as Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Cuba, and North Korea.

In addition to the full visa suspension for the above countries, the Trump administration would partially suspend tourist and student visas from Eritrea, Haiti, Laos, Myanmar, and South Sudan.

The third group of countries impacted by the travel ban would include 26 nations—such as Belarus, Pakistan, and Turkmenistan—that will be required “to address deficiencies within 60 days” or face partial suspension of U.S. visa issuance.

Sources told Reuters that the lists could change and still require formal approval by the Trump administration, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Earlier this year, President Trump issued an executive order directing several cabinet members to develop a list of countries from which travel should be partly or fully suspended, which is part of his revamped immigration crackdown.
