Colorado Debuts Rebuilt Western-Inspired Wedding and Event Setting

Colorado is now home to a newly rebuilt luxury facility for Western-inspired weddings, corporate retreats and private events: The Home Ranch. 

The 3,000-acre, family-owned retreat is located in Clark, a small town roughly 25 minutes north of Steamboat Springs. The historic property in the Rocky Mountains was previously operated as a guest ranch before becoming private in 2019. Now, it’s been reimagined as an events venue.

The Home Ranch offers exclusive, fully customizable and high-end weddings and events. Guests can participate in Western activities like horseback trail riding, cattle drives, fly fishing, clay shooting, mountain biking, hiking and greenhouse tours. Other options include hatchet throwing, paddle boarding and canoeing, paddle tennis, ATV tours, a rifle range, a 3D archery course, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, tubing and more.

Events require full buyouts of the property, which includes a 2,000-square-foot open-air pavilion, a  2,250-square-foot barn and a 12,000-square-foot Great Lodge building with a large hall and several smaller gathering places. Temporary tents can also be constructed across the property. 

For dining, groups can bring in private chefs and caterers. The ranch also offers various ingredients from its beef operation, greenhouses, chicken and duck coop, and raised garden beds.

The Home Ranch can accommodate events for up to 250 people. It also offers overnight lodging for up to 35 guests, in cabins, lodge rooms and a three-bedroom home on the property. The Great Lodge has a commercial kitchen, a pool, a spa, a fitness center and a golf simulator, as well as modern creature comforts like robes, a Keurig or espresso machine, record players and wood burning fireplaces.
