Beaches Resorts will invest nearly $1 billion to expand its family-friendly all-inclusive resorts, with plans to double its footprint in the next five years.
The resort brand, founded in 1997, will open three new all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean.
Beaches Barbados will open late this year as a family-centric sister property to Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados. It’ll offer 600 rooms in different configurations and feature a unique “Bajan” style.
In the next few years, we could also see the opening of the Beaches Exuma, located on 500 acres in the Out Islands. This resort will be a conversion from the Sandals Emerald Bay, offering 249 rooms and suites, 12 restaurants and free access to the nearby Emerald Bay Golf Course.

The third new development is the Beaches Runaway Bay, located halfway between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay in Jamaica. The resort will feature 400 suites and villas ranging from one bedroom to four bedrooms, access to Runaway Bay Golf Club, farm-to-table dining and much more.
“As a family from the Caribbean, we have a deep love for our islands, and it’s incredibly gratifying to draw inspiration from our guests,” said Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Beaches Resorts. “Our growth strategy is rooted in meeting their wants, with the importance of family time being at the core of our brand’s DNA. We know that now, more than ever, families are prioritizing connection and seeking enriching, multigenerational vacations. We are committed to not only meeting this demand but going above and beyond to wow them with new product offerings and provide unforgettable shared experiences.”
