Azamara Cruises is unveiling more details about its shore excursions in Greenland.

In collaboration with local communities, Azamara will offer its guests a wide variety of authentic experiences during Greenland sailings starting in July 2025. Travelers will be immersed in Greenland’s natural beauty and rich culture during off-the-beaten path excursions led by locals.

For example, on the Qaqortoq town walk travelers will get to explore one of Greenland’s most picturesque towns, with stops at historic landmarks like the old fountain and “Stone & Man” sculptures.

Adventurous travelers may want to book the UTH mountain tour, an off-road exploration of Nuuk’s rugged terrain that includes sites like Annaassisitta Oqaluffia, the Colonial Harbo and Inuk Hostels Café.

On the food tasting and storytelling excursion, travelers will sample seasonal Greenlandic superfoods and hear stories of the region’s culinary traditions. And on the Sisimiut view point hike, guests can see Sisimiut’s dramatic mountain scenery.

Azamara has several upcoming Greenland departures available, including:

  • Departing July 21: 15-Night Greenland, Newfoundland & Quebec Voyage
  • Departing August 5: 15-Night Quebec, Greenland & Iceland Voyage
  • Departing July 27: 30-Night Path of the Vikings: Scandinavia, Iceland, Greenland & Quebec Voyage
