In honor of America’s 250th birthday in 2026, American Cruise Lines is rolling out a selection of longer river cruises.

The new voyages all last more than 50 days. Travelers can explore destinations like Alaska, the Florida Keys, South Carolina, Washington, D.C. and more.

Guests sailing on the 52-day “Great United States Cruise,” for example, will get to visit 18 states and three national parks aboard three small ships. The voyage departs from Portland, Oregon, and ends in Boston, Massachusetts, just in time to celebrate the Fourth of July fireworks over Boston Harbor.

The 51-Day “Spring Across America” voyage, meanwhile, visits 10 states aboard five small ships. The cruise sails from Charleston, South Carolina, to Juneau, Alaska, with a variety of stops along the way.

The 55-day “Great American Fall Foliage” cruise visits 18 states on four small ships. It sails from Juneau, Alaska, to Washington, D.C.

American Cruise Lines is also reprising its popular 36-day “Civil War Battlefields” cruise in 2026. It visits 12 states aboard three small ships, and sails from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
