Universal Orlando Resort is sharing the first photos of its exciting expansion—Universal Epic Universe—ahead of the park’s grand opening event on May 22, 2025.
The new theme park offers five new worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.
The Chronos

When parkgoers enter Universal Epic Universe for the first time, they’ll enter under the Chronos portal, a gateway to Celestial Park, which will provide dining, shopping and entertainment experiences like a comet-themed roller coaster. Celestial Park is also where the in-park hotel, the Universal Grand Helios Hotel, is located.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic

Parkgoers can enter the world of 1920s wizarding Paris at the Place Cachée, the bustling hub of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter realm. Parkgoers can shop, dine, and enjoy a magical theatre experience with Le Cirque Arcanus. They can also travel from Paris to the British Ministry of Magic for the new ride, “Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry.”
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD

The third world in the new expansion is SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, featuring all the favorite characters, including Toad and Princess Peach. Games, dining and experiences are all themed after some of the most favorite places and experiences in-game, including Mt. Beanpole.
How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk

Enter the fantastical Viking village of Berk in the How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk world. Parkgoers will enjoy the scenic lagoon, two 40-foot-tall Viking statues and the village inspired by the movies. Experiences include flying on a dragon on Hiccup’s Wing Gliders, competing in fun games and more.
Dark Universe

Lastly, the realm created in homage to some of the world’s most iconic villains offers Darkmoor, a mysterious village that parkgoers can explore. The Dark Universe world also includes Frankenstein Manor, home to Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment.
