Sandy Jessop, senior vice president of engineering and operations at Coleman-Mach / Maxxair, divisions of Airxcel, has been named to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Economic Advisory Council (EAC).

The council, composed of business and labor representatives from the Tenth Federal Reserve District, provides insights on regional economic conditions and meets twice annually with bank leadership. Members serve three-year terms.

Jessop, who joined Coleman-Mach/Maxxair in 2016 as director of materials, was promoted to vice president of operations in 2017 before assuming her current role in 2020.

She oversees engineering and operations for the company, a key supplier of air conditioning and ventilation systems in the RV industry.

“I am deeply honored to join the Federal Reserve’s Economic Advisory Council, representing the Midwest and the manufacturing industry,” Jessop said.

“This opportunity allows me to bring the perspectives and challenges of businesses like Airxcel to the table, particularly as we navigate global uncertainties and policies that impact our operations.”

“I look forward to contributing to meaningful discussions that shape economic policy and ensure the voice of our region’s industries is heard,” Jessop noted.

The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s EAC provides a platform for business leaders to share industry trends, workforce challenges, and supply chain concerns with policymakers. The insights gathered help inform monetary policy and economic research at the regional and national levels.

Airxcel, headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, is a major supplier in the RV industry, with 17 brands and 14 facilities across the U.S. and Europe. Its Coleman-Mach and Maxxair divisions specialize in climate control and ventilation products for recreational vehicles.
