Navarro College Seeks Part-Time RV Technician Instructor for Fall 2025 Program

Navarro College is hiring a part-time RV technician instructor to teach the “Intro to RV Tech” course as part of its continuing education offerings this fall.

The course, scheduled for Fall 2025, supports Navarro’s ongoing partnership with the RV Technical Institute (RVTI).

The Corsicana, Texas-based college became the first community college to be named an RVTI Authorized Learning Partner. This partnership allows the college to deliver RVTI’s Level 1 curriculum, which is designed to equip students with essential diagnostic and repair skills for propane, electrical, plumbing, appliance, body, generator, and chassis systems in recreational vehicles.

Launched earlier this year, the “Intro to RV Tech” course spans two weeks. The first week focuses on Level 1 training and testing, while the second week provides OSHA 10 certification, basic computer skills, and instruction on how to read and write repair orders. The newly hired instructor will be responsible for teaching only the Level 1 curriculum in the first week.

According to a News and Insights of RVIA, applicants for the position must have at least three years of work experience in the RV technician field. A Level 2 certification or higher from RVTI is preferred but not required.

The ideal candidate will possess strong instructional capabilities and a commitment to student success.

Instructors should also prepare up-to-date instructional materials, motivate students to perform at their highest potential, and foster a professional and respectful classroom environment.
