National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions is launching a series of chartered voyages in Indonesia aboard the ship Aqua Blu. The brand is returning to Indonesia with two new diving-centric itineraries that explore the Coral Triangle, the Spice Islands, Raja Ampat and Komodo National Park.

The 28-guest ship, which is owned by Aqua Expeditions, features 14 suites, indoor and outdoor dining areas, an outdoor wellness area and hot tub, a stylish lounge and a tranquil spa offering Balinese treatments and aromatherapy.

Aqua Blu also has snorkeling and kayaking gear on board, and can accommodate up to 10 experienced and certified divers at the same time.

Launching in October 2026, the 15-day “Indonesia’s Coral Gardens and Komodo Dragons” itinerary will visit Indonesia’s Coral Triangle, Komodo National Park, Taka Bonerate National Park and the Banda Sea.

The 15-day “Indonesia’s Spice Islands and Raja Ampat” will debut in November 2026. Guests who select this itinerary will have a chance to explore Indonesia’s famed Spice Islands, Raja Ampat and more.

“Our guests are naturally curious and drawn to places that inspire discovery, and the addition of Aqua Blu will allow us to bring our travelers even closer to the wild beauty and rich cultural heritage of Indonesia like never before,” says Trey Byus, chief expedition officer for Lindblad Expeditions. “I believe there is no better way for travelers to dive deep into the wonders Indonesia has to offer than these unforgettable itineraries.”
