MSC Cruises is introducing new entertainment offerings aboard MSC Virtuosa this summer, including a “Dirty Dancing” tribute show.
As the ship sails to the Norwegian Fjords, the Northern Pearls cities, the Canary Islands and the Atlantic coast of Europe, guests will be able to enjoy several new shows. The highlight is “Dirty Dancing: In Concert,” a 90-minute live-to-film concert experience that brings the Lionsgate film to life with a live band, singers and dancers.
MSC will also be introducing two new Carousel Productions circus shows, plus new main theater shows and daytime activities. The line is also rolling out new kids and family entertainment options, including programs developed in partnership with Lego Group.
In the main theater, guests can enjoy “Songbook Abba,” featuring Abba’s greatest hits, as well as “Starwalker,” highlighting the music of Michael Jackson. The Carousel Lounge will have two new cirque aerial shows, one launching in June and the other in the fall.
MSC Virtuosa will also be home to the MSC Street Theatre, with surprise pop-up performances throughout the ship. Guests can enjoy new daytime activities and family-friendly entertainment, including game shows, parties, quizzes and more.
“Hall of Fame,” a live concert celebrating pop legends set to debut on MSC World America, will also be coming to MSC Virtuosa.
“Providing an impressive array of spectacular entertainment options for every type of guest around the clock is key to creating an unforgettable cruise experience,” says Steve Leatham, vice president of entertainment at MSC Cruises. “MSC Virtuosa is an incredible platform for pushing the boundaries of entertainment at sea.”
