After a makeover, Majestic Princess is back on the water with new venues and enhanced features.
The 3,560-guest Princess Cruises ship spent two weeks in Palermo, Italy, ahead of its 2025 Mediterranean season. While there, crews added several new spaces and made other changes to the ship.
The ship will remain in the Mediterranean through July. In August and September, the ship will sail to Canada and New England, before continuing on to the Caribbean from October to December.
The ship is now home to O’Malley’s Irish Pub (formerly Vines Wine Bar), Sabatini’s Italian Trattoria (formerly Harmony Restaurant) and Good Spirits At Sea (replaces Piazza Bar).
Other new additions include The Candy Story and The Shops of Princess: EFFY (both formerly Calypso Cove). Guests can also enjoy Captains Arcade (formerly Churchill’s Video Arcade), Ocean Terrace Sushi Bar (formerly Ocean Terrace Bar) and Princess Photo Gallery (formerly the Library).
“Majestic Princess has undergone a remarkable transformation that will introduce beloved venues and experiences from across our fleet as it sails,” says Lorna Warren, vice president of hotel operations and guest experience for Princess Cruises.
“We can’t wait to welcome guests aboard for the upcoming Mediterranean season as we celebrate our 40th anniversary of cruising in this stunning, sought-after region," Warren continued.
