JetBlue Unveils New Dunkin’-Themed Livery, Mosaic Status Giveaway

JetBlue has a bright new plane ready to take to the skies.

To celebrate its ongoing partnership with Dunkin’, the airline has launched a special plane with a livery dedicated to the coffee and donut brand. The snazzy Airbus A320, nicknamed Brewing Altitude sports a hot pink-and-orange design with both brands’ names on the side and a sprinkle donut on the tail. 

The plane was first unveiled in Boston, which is a concentration city for JetBlue and the metropolitan area where Dunkin’ was founded. 

But the celebration goes beyond just the plane’s livery. JetBlue is also offering status to customers who fly the coffee-and-donut-themed plane on Mondays from May 19 to September 1. Passengers who complete a qualifying flight will be awarded Mosaic 1 status, JetBlue’s entry level elite tier that comes with perks like two free checked bags, priority boarding, and access to EvenMore extra legroom seats at check-in. 

In order to earn the status, passengers must be a member of both JetBlue’s TrueBlue program and Dunkin’ Rewards. Eligible flights will be announced on JetBlue’s dedicated deals page the Friday before, so make sure to check back regularly. Flight reservations must include the passenger’s TrueBlue number.

Within two weeks of their qualifying flight, passengers will receive Mosaic 1 status for three months. Current Mosaic members will receive a 20-tile bonus. Travelers will also receive Dunkin’ Boosted status for three months, too.

JetBlue’s partnership with Dunkin’ dates back to 2006, when the New York-based carrier began serving Dunkin’ original blend coffee on board. The coffee and donut company has been the exclusive coffee provider for JetBlue since 2011.
