Emirates First Class Is Getting Even Fancier With These Special New Touches

1 day ago 1

Emirates first class is pretty much considered the holy grail of premium airline products, known for its flashy amenities like ultra-private suites, as well as the onboard shower and horseshoe bar available on its Airbus A380 planes.

Now the Gulf carrier’s first-class experience is getting even more sophisticated, as the Dubai-based airline is enhancing some of the finer service details in this show-stopping cabin. From check-in to in-flight dining, several touch points along the first class journey are getting a refresh. The enhancements start on the ground, with travelers departing from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport (DXB) being escorted to a newly refurbished first-class check-in area, with more personalized service and a design that evokes a lounge-like, exclusive atmosphere that will open in coming weeks.

Once settled into their seats on their flights, first-class customers will now receive a keepsake menu that delves into the backstory of the rare wines offered on board. When it’s time for the cabin’s iconic unlimited caviar service, passengers will be served Emirates’ Gourmet House caviar in new engraved bowls complete with cloche lids. The sense of elegance is heightened even further as flight attendants will now offer a white-gloved meal service.

The new service enhancements are available in first class cabins on the airline's A380 planes and Boeing 777 aircraft. While the Emirates first-class experience on the A380 planes receive a lot of attention due to the shower and bar lounge amenities, passengers should also try to fly the airline’s 777 planes, which offer a cabin of just six first-class seats with floor-to-ceiling-privacy doors.
