Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth is back on the water after a makeover.
Crews completed an extensive three-week transformation at Seatrium's Admiralty Yard in Singapore on Friday, just in time for the ship’s inaugural Miami-Caribbean and Alaska seasons.
The 2,000-guest ship will launch her first Alaska season from Seattle on June 12. Then, on October 16, Queen Elizabeth will embark on her first Caribbean voyage from Miami.
Crews updated the ship’s signature spaces, including the Commodore Club, Queens Room, Garden Lounge and The Pavilion. They also revamped the outdoor decks and elevated the Grills suites.
Guests sailing aboard Queen Elizabeth can also now enjoy The Pavilion Wellness Café and the Harper's Bazaar Wellness at Sea program, which debuted last year on Cunard's Queen Anne.
“As Queen Elizabeth begins this exciting new chapter, we are delighted to offer guests an even more refined experience on board, with beautifully updated spaces that combine classic Cunard style with modern comfort,” says Katie McAlister, president of Cunard.
“With a full season based in Miami for the first time, more guests from the U.S. and around the world can now experience the Caribbean with Cunard's unique sense of luxury," McAlister continued. "The region remains a favorite for travelers on both sides of the Atlantic, and we can't wait to welcome guests on board.”
