Climb Capital and Unhitched RV Acquire The Backyard RV Resort in Montgomery

Climb Capital and Unhitched RV have acquired The Backyard RV Resort in Montgomery, Alabama, expanding their portfolio of outdoor hospitality destinations. 

The resort will be rebranded as Unhitched Montgomery, introducing the company’s signature amenities and services to the state’s capital.

The Backyard RV Resort features 105 full-hook-up RV sites with 30/50 amp service, catering to both short—and long-term stays. 

Guests will have access to amenities such as a coffee bar, a community fire pit, a fishing and water skiing lake, a pavilion, laundry facilities, and a pet-friendly environment.

Located 10 minutes from downtown Montgomery, the resort provides a convenient base for visitors exploring the city’s historical and cultural attractions. 

Nearby sites include the Alabama State Capitol and the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, highlighting Montgomery’s role in the Civil Rights Movement.

Outdoor recreation opportunities include whitewater rafting at Montgomery Whitewater Park, hiking and mountain biking at Lagoon Park Trail and Swayback Bridge Trail, and golfing at Gateway Golf Course. 

Families can visit Gateway Park, which offers sports fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas. Baseball fans can catch a game at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, home to the Montgomery Biscuits.
